"Let's Have Lots of Fun in Korea, Friends!"... The Cute Wish of "Middle School Archery Medalist" Kang Yeon-seo

Today (October 1), middle school national archer Kang Yeon-seo secured a bronze medal in the women's individual compound archery event at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games. Making her first appearance at this competition, Kang claimed her second medal following her earlier bronze in the team event.

After the match, Kang reflected that the result fell slightly short of her goals, but named her mother's homemade kimchi fried rice as the food she wants to eat most now that the competition is over. She also sent a message to her friends, saying they should hang out a lot once she returns to Korea.

We bring you the interview with "middle school national team member" Kang Yeon-seo on Sports Mug.
