"A Long Self-Introduction": BTS RM Holds Exhibition of His Collection at U.S. Art Museum

BTS member RM is holding a special exhibition featuring his personal collection at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art in the United States.

RM described the upcoming exhibition as an opportunity to introduce himself at length.

Opening on the 3rd local time, the special exhibition titled "Between You and Me" marks the first time RM is showcasing his private art collection.

RM participated directly in the overall planning and curation, and also recorded the audio guide.

A total of 178 works will be displayed, including 142 pieces collected by RM.

Speaking at a preview event yesterday (the 30th), RM said, "I received the exhibition proposal while serving in the military," adding, "I decided to take it on because it felt like a great experience before eventually opening a space of my own dreams."

He shared that feeling as though he was always drifting somewhere made him rely heavily on art, which naturally led to collecting.

He explained that he gathered the pieces with the desire to add a fresh and youthful perspective as a young South Korean, ultimately describing the exhibition as a long self-introduction.
